In Pictures: Preston Youth Theatre bring Middle Earth to Preston

Avenham and Miller Park was transformed into Middle Earth for the production of ‘There and Back Again’ by the staff and members of the Preston Youth Theatre group.

The adaptation of the classic Hobbit tale moved around the park making good use of the outdoor settings.

We had dwarfs, goblins, caves, battles and of course Gandalf as Baggins and Co. set out to free their homeland from the dragon, Smaug.

There were some strong performances; particularly notable was the key role of Bilbo Baggins played by Ben Cable who was excellent.
