England’s Under-21s will play a match at Deepdale on Thursday, September 3 ahead of their Euro qualifier against Norway.

The warm-up game will see them take against the USA Under-23s side who should prove to be a tough challenge. They will be preparing for their own hunt for glory at the Olympic Games in Rio.

The Euro 2017 qualification for the Under-21s will begin for England against Norway on September 7.  The finals of that tournament will be held in Poland.

Gareth Southgate, Under-21 coach, said: “It will be a good test for us as this will be a USA team which is a little bit older and wiser and who will be making up their Olympic team for Rio next year.”

Standard tickets for the will cost £10 plus £5 for children and concessions. Season ticket holders at Preston North End will receive half price tickets.
