Church Street murder inquiry: Man arrested as body found

Police were seen in Church Street on Tuesday evening
A murder inquiry is underway following a man’s body being found in Preston city centre.
AdvertisementPolice were outside a property in Church Street on Tuesday from 8.30pm.
Officers found a 42-year-old man from Preston and paramedics pronounced him deceased.
Preston Police say the death is unexplained and they have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of murder and he is currently in custody. He has now been released facing no further action.
