A new seafood and steak restaurant is preparing to open in Preston city centre.
AdvertisementTheatre Street Bar and Grill let us in for a sneak peek in May and its owner has now set a date for opening.
The 50-cover restaurant is specialising in locally reared steaks, fresh seafood, fine wines and cocktails.
Head chef and owner Chris Maughan said: “We are really excited to introduce the bar and restaurant to the public on Tuesday 30th June. It’s been a two year plan to extend through our current shop, Moka Express, to a new unit adjacent to the Post office.
“Although this is a new brand for Preston City centre, we are still in partnership with the Moka café group on Fishergate. The restaurant is designed with a booth-seating layout, as we feel dining in this environment creates a private, relaxing ambience.”
The opening times for the restaurant will be from 11.30am to 4.30pm for lunch and then from 5pm to 11pm for dinner.
Mr Maughan said they would be opening to the public on Tuesday 30 June.
