A teenager was left without his watch and mobile phone after a “nasty attack” in Ashton-on-Ribble.
AdvertisementA 17-year-old was walking home along Raglan Street at 11.15pm on Friday 1 May.
He saw three men standing on Inkerman Street and as he continued along the road heading towards Aqueduct Street a man ran past him before stopping directly in front of him.
A further two men then joined him. The teenager was then punched and kicked by the three men who took a Lacoste watch, £10 cash, bank card and a gold iPhone 5S.
The boy has suffered minor injuries to his face as a result of the attack.
The three men are described as white and thought to be around 19 years of age. All three were wearing dark clothing with their hoods up at the time of the attack. One man is described as 5ft 9 tall, another 6ft 2 tall who spoke with a local accent and the third thought to be 5ft 11 tall.
DC 3011 Abid Majid, of Preston Police, said: “This was a nasty attack on a young man who was simply making his way home from an evening with his friends. We are keen to trace the three men involved and I would urge anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.”
