Cadley Causeway stabbing: Preston teenager charged with wounding

Police have charged a Preston teenager over a stabbing in Fulwood.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with wound with intent and possessing an offensive weapon.

It follows a 15-year-old boy being stabbed in the thigh on Bank Holiday Monday.

The victim was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he was treated for a small puncture wound to his thigh. He has left hospital following treatment.

The incident happened around 9pm in the children’s play area off Cadley Causeway.

The 14-year-old is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court this morning.
