The American-themed restaurant chain has applied for a licence to serve alcohol seven days a week from 10am to midnight.

It would open at Deepdale Shopping Park alongside the likes of Nando’s.

The new Frankie and Benny’s would at Unit FC4 and open from 10am to 12.30am each day.

The current Frankie and Benny’s, which is owned by The Restaurant Group, is at the Capitol Centre in Walton-le-Dale.

Its future is uncertain after developers applied for permission to demolish the restaurant along with the Vue cinema which is located alongside it.

Anyone wishing to comment on the Frankie and Benny’s application can do so by emailing licensing@preston.gov.uk by Wednesday 6 May
