The Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAS) saw success for Preston digital agency Magma Digital as they picked up two awards.

Magma, based in Winckley Square, picked up professional business of the year and employer of the year.

There was also success for Suresite Group who won small business of the year.

Babs Murphy, chief executive of organisers the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Comerce, said: “The BIBAs has once again proved to be hugely popular among businesses in all four corners of Lancashire.

“The introduction of initiative such as the BIBAs Academy, a programme of masterclass sessions, networking opportunities and tailored mentoring open to our winners has only heightened the demand to lift one of our trophies.

“We are more than just awards, we are a business development opportunity which gives our winners the chance to thrive, generating more jobs and prosperity for Lancashire.

“My plea to any business from Preston considering entering would be, give yourself time to do yourself and your business justice – do not leave it until the last minute.”

During May the entries are shortlisted before the judges go out on tour during June.

The awards event is held on Friday 11 September at Blackpool Tower.

Applications can be made via the BIBA website.
