As well as performing, Lebohang will also be contesting in Show Off, a talent show where five will be selected to perform on the day. Young tenants can upload a video file to audition, where the remaining five will be judged by a panel to select the winner. Prizes will be given to runners up of £50 high street vouchers while the winner will walk away with £200.
Lebohang said: “The bursary money was a big help to me as it allowed me to work on my college course. Without the funding support to buy equipment I might not have had the chance to continue my studies.
“I’m looking forward to performing at YFEST2015 as it’s a chance to showcase my skills, and I hope that anyone else who might need assistance achieving their goals will think about applying for the bursary.”
