Sudden death in Ashton-on-Ribble no longer being investigated

Police are no longer investigating a sudden death in Ashton-on-Ribble.

An ambulance was called just after 11.45pm on Monday 23 February following reports of a death at an address on De Lacy Street.

Lancashire Police also attended and a 50 year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 56 year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder but was later released with no charge.

The case has now been passed to the coroner.
