Preston’s first specialised skate store has moved to bigger premises on Friargate.

The clothing and hardware shop, Scene, first came to Preston in 1997 and has remained the only of its kind to specialise in these products in the city.

The store has organised skateboarding events and even music events in its 16 year history and this recent move to bigger premises is another step in the right direction.

Store manager, Chris Davison said, “It just means more exposure. It allows us to host more events for launches of certain products. It means we can widen our brand selection, and a bigger space to showcase things. We would like to host a few more events whether that’d be art events or video premieres. We want more of a community to come down to the shop not just for shopping.”
