Last year’s Nearly New Sale

The National Childbirth Trust will host a Nearly New Sale at Corpus Christi High School, raising money to help with support for parents and babies.

The sale will have quality used children and baby clothes and is open to the public on Saturday March 14th 2015, beginning at 12pm. NCT members will be allowed early entry from 11.30am. It will cost £1 to enter, and this local event will cover the Preston and Fylde and District Areas.

The largest parenting charity in the UK host these events across the UK and raise over £1 million for the charity each year which helps with face-to-face support to parents, breastfeeding counselling, and groups for mums, dads and babies.

New for this year, the volunteer-led event will aim to help the Baby Bundles Scheme, which supports local parents and families in need, providing equipment and practical help.

The NCT are looking for volunteers to help run the event, and anyone wishing to sell any children’s clothes, toys are equipment is encouraged to register by emailing, nns_preston@yahoo.co.uk.
