The weather is expected to pass by Wednesday and steadily improve as Easter approaches.

There is the potential for flooding and traffic disruptions as a result of the weather which will move in from the West and is expected to continue overnight.

Prestonians will be hoping the weather clears up quickly in time for them to enjoy the Easter weekend.

In particular, a strong forecast for Easter Monday would be a boost so that egg-rolling at Avenham Park can be fully enjoyed.
