A further consultation on plans to drill for shale gas in two areas on the edge of Preston has begun.
AdvertisementCuadrilla wants to use the controversial fracking method at Preston New Road, Little Plumpton and Roseacre Wood near Woodplumpton.
In January a decision on whether to allow Cuadrilla to drill was deferred after the firm asked for time to submit further proposals on their plans.
Now the firm has provided additional information on both sites.
For Roseacre Wood it relates to noise, traffic, air emissions and visual impact.
For Preston New Road it relates to noise, air emissions and visual impact.
The previous development control committee meeting in late January where the plans were deferred saw passionate protests outside County Hall in Preston.
The full information can be viewed online at the county council’s website and also in libraries in Lytham, St Annes, Ansdell, Kirkham and at the Fylde Borough Council offices in Lytham St Annes.
The consultation period runs from Friday 20 March to Friday 17 April.
