Police in Preston are still looking for a man wanted on recall to prison.

Convicted burglary Ronald Mellor, 38, from Preston, was sentenced to 54 months inside in November 2011 for a violent burglary.

He was released from HMP Thorn Cross in February on licence.

DS Dixon from Preston CID said: “I would urge anyone who has seen Mellor or knows of his whereabouts to get in contact with us at their earliest opportunity.

“I would ask the public not to approach him but to report any sightings of him to us on 101.”
