Preston’s College showcased great musical talent at ‘Undistorted’ gig

On 10 February 2015, Preston’s College Media Hub played host to years one and two level three students who performed their annual ‘Undistorted’ gig to a packed audience.
There was real eclectic mix of musical styles and genre in all of the performances and it was obvious that musical skill was in abundance with these fabulous bands.

Each band have individually released songs on iTunes and together the eight bands playing the Undistorted gig have released an Undistorted 2015 Compilation CD.
The bands playing for the evenings gig were:

Heisenberg Project: Rock/Alternative Band based in Preston Lancashire.
Drawing Lines: Hard Hitting Indie-Rock’ Prestonian’s who formed in late 2013.
Ink Wire: Jazz influenced guitar rythms with experimental electronic elements and mixing techniques.
Empire: Alternative/rock band who’s influences include Memphis May Fire, Word Alive and Stone Roses.
Farrow: Metal Band Based in the UK.
Young State: An alternative rock band formed by Preston college.
Mulitculturals: A diverse Indie, Rock, Alternative five piece collective from Preston.
Amused: A collective from some of the bands above who came together as a Muse cover act.
