The three year old is making good progress according to her family who have seen their fundraising target smashed overnight.

The Cole’s need to raise £10,000 to fly Pippa to America for pioneering Proton Beam Therapy and kind-hearted Prestonians are helping them get there.

Pippa’s mother Michelle posted on Facebook to say “Pippa has improved a lot, her pain is under control and she is now off all IVs (intravenous). She has taken her first few steps this morning, and the consultants are event talking about sending us home.”

The fundraising total for Pippa now sits at £10,407.

Pippa contracted a brain tumour when she was 18 months, after being removed it came back a second time. Pippa went under the surgeon’s knife a second time early last week.
