The Ferret have launched their Burger of the Year competition.
AdvertisementOver the last 12 months, the music venue have been serving up a brand new Burger of the Week for customers every seven days.
The burgers are split into four heats that can be voted for with a “like” on the Burger of the Year Facebook page.
Not that we’d like to influence public vote, but we’ve gathered the ten tastiest looking burgers from the last year.

1. ‘And The Heat Goes On’ Burger
An 8oz Chillied Beef and Bean Burger, Topped with a Spicy Beef Chilli and Cheese. Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun with Lettuce, Tomato and a Scotch Bonnet Relish. Accompanied by Chilli Salted Fries, Bullet Chilli Salad Garnish, and Your Choice of Hot Sauce or Mint Yoghurt.
2. The ‘She’s A Super Leek’ Burger
An 8oz Marinated Chicken Breast. Topped with Braised Leeks, Crumbled Stilton, and Bacon Bits. Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun, with Lettuce, Tomato, and Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms. Accompanied by Ferret Fries, a Leek Coleslaw, and Mixed Leaf Garnish.

A 8oz Smoked Pork, Bacon & Chorizo Burger Topped with Roasted Red Pepper, and Manchego Cheese, Accompanied by an Avocado Salsa, Paprika Aioli and Sweet Potato Fries
4. The In-Cider Burger
An 8oz Pork, Apple and Cider Burger. Topped with a Barbeque Coleslaw, Bacon Bits, and Crumbled Blue Cheese. Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun, with Lettuce, Tomato and Red Onion. Accompanied by a Bacon, Apple and Blue Cheese Salad, with Apple Cider Dressing and Vegetable Crisps.
5. You Cannoli Handle So Much Burger
An 8oz Beef, Belly Pork and Parmesan Burger. Topped with Salami And A Chive Ricotta. Served On A Toasted Focaccia With Rocket And A Sundried Tomato Pesto. Accompanied By Rosemary Salted Fries And A Roast Red Pepper Salad.
6. The Man-Sized Meatball
A Giant Meatball Stuffed with Mozzarella, Basil and Pancetta. Wood Smoked and Smothered in a Rich Tomato and Basil Sauce. Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun with Rocket and Tomato. Accompanied by a Mixed Leaf and Cherry Tomato Salad, Broccoli and Red Onion Slaw, and Ferret Fries.
7. The Third Base Burger
Four Handmade, Part Smoked, Fish Fingers. Served on a Toasted Brioche Bun, with Crispy Fried Fish Skin and a Pea Puree. Accompanied by Handmade Baked Beans and Spicy Sausages. Our Own Tomato Ketchup and Tartare Sauce. Absolutely NO Salad.
8. The Drunken Member
A.K.A. The ‘Coq au Vin’ Burger
An 8oz Chicken Breast, Stuffed with Bacon, Mushrooms, Shallots, and Garlic. Cooked in Wine & Drizzled with a Red Wine Reduction. Served on a Toasted French Baguette with Mixed Leaves and Green Bean & Tarragon Coleslaw. Accompanied by a Red Wine and Tomato Ketchup, Fries with Rosemary Salt, and a Mixed Leaf and Pea Garnish.
9. The ‘You Must Be Jerkin’ Burger
