Preston FM has returned to the airwaves but concerns still exist about its future.
The community radio station, which broadcasts across the city and South Ribble, went off air in early January.
It had run into financial trouble and had to pull the plug while urgent talks took place to shore up the volunteer-led station.
A statement from the Preston FM board of trustees said: “We have resumed live broadcasting and will work towards out full schedule within the week.
“Training is also now opened up to new volunteers.”
A schedule has been put in place with Hughie Parr doing 9am to 12noon, a music mix between 12noon and 1pm, John Nicoll on 1pm to 4pm and LJ during 4pm to 7pm.
