Evofit of man wanted for Ribbleton grabbing

This is what police think a man wanted on suspicion of grabbing a woman in Ribbleton looks like.

Preston Police have released the image after the incident on Sunday as the woman walked along Ribbleton Hall Drive.

The man approached the woman close to the junction with Ribbleton Hall Drive around 8pm.

He grabbed her and attempted to pull her into some bushes. The woman was able to break free from the man and make her way home.

The offender is described as a white male, in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 5ft 3in tall, medium build with dark blonde hair that is collar length and in tight curls. He is believed to have been wearing dark clothing at the time.

DS Oliver Jemson of South CID said: “Thankfully the woman was uninjured but she has been left very shaken by the incident. An investigation to identify the man is underway and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anything or has any information about what happened to contact us.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 quoting incident number 1094 of 4 January 2015.
