Kiss & Ride is now in operation at Preston Train Station, according to the sign above.

Those dropping off loved ones at the station will have to say goodbye with a kiss as parking is not permitted.

The front of Preston Station was renovated at the end of last year as part of the new look Fishergate.

The sign provides some welcome light relief as the Fishergate renovation has caused confusion for many drivers.

The good news for those who want to say a slightly longer goodbye to loved ones before a train journey is that parking is still available at the side entrance to the station.

With Valentine’s Day not far away, that could be very welcome.
