Car found on fire in Deepdale

Fire crews were called to St Stephen’s Road in Deepdale to find a car on fire.

At 2.28am on Sunday the vehicle was “well alight” according to crews from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

They used one hose reel to bring the fire under control. No owner of the car was present at the scene and no one was injured in the blaze.

It is not known at this stage how the fire started, but the fire service will be investigating the cause of the fire.
