Appeal: Can you help police identify these three men suspected of Preston City Centre assault?

Lancashire Police want to speak to three men suspected of assault in Preston City Centre.

The three images in this article were released by detectives and taken from CCTV footage from 2.25am on Wednesday December 3.

A 19-year old victim is believed to have been followed by three men along Lancaster Road onto Old Vicarage when they demanded he hand over his wallet.

He refused and fled before falling to the ground. He was punched and his wallet, containing £60, was taken. The three men then fled down Tinkerfield Street.

DS Jerry Sturgess of Preston CID said: “We are keen to trace the three men in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help us with our enquiries.

“If anyone recognises them or has any information about their identities they should contact us on 101 quoting log number 68 of December 3rd 2014.”

The three men were all described as tall, wearing dark coloured clothes and they had their faces masked with scarves.
