Andrew Bradshaw has applied to create a new mini-estate of luxury family homes off Lightfoot Lane.

The land sits to the south of where a Redrow development could see 300 or so homes built.

A statement from Janet Dixon architects says the Bradshaw estate would “constitute appropriate ‘infill’ development between existing development and the approved Redrow development and consolidate the existing pattern of development within the settlement.”

A previous plan for 13 homes on the site was withdrawn before it reached the planning committee in March.

The full plans are available to view on the city council website.

Anyone wishing to comment on the plans can do so via the city council website or by emailing devcon@preston.gov.uk quoting reference 06/2014/0786 by Sunday 16 November
