Volunteers pulled on their gardening gloves to help a Preston animal rescue centre on Saturday.
AdvertisementMore than 10 people turned out for a clean up at the RSPCA Preston Rescue Centre in Ribbleton.
The centre said it was struggling with the workload of its animal residents and hadn’t been able to clear up the area around the centre.
Volunteer Melina Carr showed the different the clean up crew made, with before and after pictures.
She said: “It was a brilliant success and the people who came really did warm our hearts as they said they would love to do this on a regular basis throughout the year.”
