Funding for Inter Faith week has been given by Lancashire County Council.

Two events to be funded are the Faith and Finance half day conference as well as a Voice of women in Faith all day event.
Preston South East county councillor and leader of the county council Jennifer Mein approved the funding.
An application from the Preston Faith Forum said: “There is general recognition that government cutbacks are having a huge impact on people’s ability to cope with day-to-day living, and managing finance is a crucial aspect of this.
“These two events during Inter Faith week being together people from different faith groups, together with members of the local authority and public sector, in a forum where issues can be identified and solutions and approaches explored.”
The money is to be used to pay for guest speakers and refreshments at the events.
Inter Faith Week statrts on Thursday 20 November.
