A frightful night was had by all at Preston’s Saturday night Prestfest.

With monsters, aliens, zombies, clowns from your worst nightmares and the scariest of all was the grim reaper just waiting to take you.

Revellers in Preston were given a fantastic Halloween treat when the characters appeared at various locations around the centre of the town, inside the clubs and outside on the streets.

Zombie flashmobs performed macabre dance routines to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” which was absolutely superb.

The grim reaper and ghost knights on horse back prowled the streets looking for their victims, while the clowns just scared the living daylights out of everyone.

Although the weather held out for most of the night, the wind especially added to the atmosphere, with the clothing of the characters blowing around creating a very sinister atmosphere.
