Volunteers are wanted to help Preston’s RSPCA Animal Centre improve the area around the centre.
On Saturday 1 November an army of volunteers are asked to plant bulbs, weed, cut hedges and strim down overgrown areas at the Ribbleton centre.
Management at the centre said: “Due to all our commitments and efforts going towards helping animals who have been mistreated and neglected, we unfortunately have a lack of time and the funding to ensure the surrounding areas are maintained.”
Volunteers need to bring their own gardening equipment and must be aged 18 and over.
The event takes place from 10am to 2pm and those wanting to attend are asked to email rspcapreston@hotmail.com.
