A networking event for the creative sector in the city returns to Preston.
POWWOW takes place at Glover’s Bar and is organised by Creative Lancashire.
Ed Matthews-Gentle from Creative Lancashire said: “The idea behind POWWOW is to give people from the Creative Sector more opportunities to talk, share ideas and network.
“We held the first POWWOW in Preston and it was a big success, so we’re pleased to be holding another one in the city. A similar event in Lancaster also went down well.
“There’ll be no speakers and no advisors. It’s just a great chance to meet up with like-minded creative people, share ideas and develop partnerships.
“The event is aimed at businesses, freelancers and students who want to connect with future employers and explore opportunities – everyone’s welcome!
“For freelancers and students, it could be a chance to collaborate with businesses and gain useful experience. While for businesses, it’s a good chance to talk to some of Lancashire’s emerging creative talents.”
The event is free to attend but anyone planning to go needs to register online.
It runs from 6pm to 8pm and takes place on Wednesday 15 October.
