You can leave your pants on. That’s the message from one Preston charity as a pair of boxer shorts was left on their city centre doorstep.
AdvertisementOne of the staff members at Church Street based charity Disability Equality North West opened their shutters to find a pair of boxer shorts dumped on their doorstep.
Mel Close, chief executive, said: “We are a registered charity supporting disabled people. We rely heavily donations but we don’t usually get boxer shorts.
“One could only imagine how they got there, or how the owner got home without them.
“We get lots of takeaway cartons and cans because of where we are. But boxers? The mind boggles.”
The team saw a street cleaner from Preston City Council passing and asked him to pick them up.
