Police are hunting a jewellery thief after a raid at a Penwortham home.
More than £8,000 worth of jewellery has been taken from an address on Shaftsbury Avenue.
Lancashire Police say the incident happened between 5pm on Friday 3 October and 10pm on Sunday 5 October.
At least 30 items were taken in the burglary, and detectives say the offender entered via a first floor window.
Some of the items include an Armani silver ladies watch with an oblong face, a Tag Heur watch with a silver strap and round face, a men’s tie clip featuring a knife and fork on the top of it, an 18ct white gold chain with a pendant featuring black and white diamonds around it, an 18ct gold Italian ring with green enamel and diamonds on top and an 18ct gold ring with a Tourmaline stone surrounded by diamonds.
PC Michael Rhodes of Preston Police said: “We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to get in touch with us.
“If you have been offered items of jewellery for sale in the area, we would be interested to hear from you as you may be able to help us with our investigations.
“The victim is understandably upset by this incident and there may be more items that have been taken that the victim is not yet aware of.”
