Public voting has opened by organisers with Bartender of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and Pub of the Year up for grabs.

The venue award categories are to be judged by a combination of public votes and mystery shopping visits by judges.

The individual awards are to be down to just the public votes.

The awards run as part of a celebration of Preston being the only city or town in Lancashire to have a Purple Flag for a safe and vibrant night out.

The winners of the awards are set to be revealed at a ceremony in December organised by Preston’s Business Improvement District.

You can vote online for your favourite via the organisers website
