Police want to speak to the man pictured about the assault inside the club

CCTV pictures of a man wanted in connection with an attack in a Preston city centre nightclub have been released.

An 18 year old Preston man was punched in the right hand side of his face in Evoque on Church Street.

The blow caused the man to fall to the floor and lose consciousness.

The incident around 3.30am on Sunday 14 September left the victim in hospital needing treatment for a fractured jaw.

Lancashire Police say they want to speak to the man pictured in CCTV stills in connection with the attack.

PC Katherine Jolly of Preston Police said: “This was an unprovoked attack on the dance floor which left the victim with a fractured jaw. I am particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV footage and I would urge anyone who recognises him to contact us. I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.”
