Royal Blood celebrated a number one with their self-titled debut album last week.

Their album became the best-selling rock album since the release of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

However, as recently as October 2013, they were still relatively unknown and playing small venues.

One of those venues was The Ferret, where the band played to just a handful of people.

The band had only released Figure It Out at the time, with Out of the Black soon following to help give the band their breakthrough.

Take a look at these rare early pictures of the band.
