Hundreds of runners took to Preston’s streets on Sunday morning to compete in the 10k and 5k races.
AdvertisementOur photographers were out on the route snapping away as the pavements were pounded for Run Preston.
The 5k route was one lap of a course which took you down to Avenham Park, along the Old Tram Bridge, and then along the river.
You then went along a section of Broadgate before heading up the Avenham Park hill and back into the city centre.
The 10k was two laps of the same route, finishing just at the entrance to the covered market.
Conditions were good with temperatures of around 14 degrees and overcast clouds meaning the heat wasn’t too much for runners.
More than 400 took on the 5k and an estimated 1000 runners for the 10k.
See if you can spot yourself in the pictures below by Paul Melling, and we’ve also hyperlapse video of the race.
