Motorists are being diverted off the M6 northbound and southbound during major roadworks.
AdvertisementOvernight closures of the motorway are in place from Friday at 10pm.
The northbound M6 from junctions 31 to 32 is closed from 10pm to 6am, and again on Saturday 30 August, Sunday 31 August and Monday 1 September from 9pm to 6am.
A fully signed diversion route is in place from Junction 31 via the A59, A5085 to A6 north to M55 junction 1 and easy to M6 junction 32.
The M6 southbound from junction 32 to 31 is also to be closed from Friday 10pm to 6am, and on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9pm to 6am.
Diversions will be in place from M6 junction 32 via the M55 eastbound to junction 1, around the roundabout and back onto the M55 westbound and back onto the M6 southbound.
The current roadworks are part of a £7 million investment in tackling congestion at the interchange by adding extra lanes.
Roadworks and disruption are expected until November this year.
