Police have arrested two further men in their investigation into the murder of Jonjo Highton.
AdvertisementThe 18 year old died from a stab wound to the neck just before midnight on Saturday.
Lancashire Police say a 22 year old man and a 26 year old man from Preston have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
This takes the total number arrested on suspicion of murder to five men.
A 19 year old man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning and two 21 year olds arrested on Monday.
The incident took place on St Stephen’s Road, Deepdale, and Highton was found with a number of injuries from a knife.
A police appeal is ongoing for people to come forward with information.
Detective Superintendent Eddie Thistlethwaite said: “This young man suffered a brutal attack. I believe there were a number of people involved and we are working hard to identify the offenders.
“I would appeal for anyone with any information, however unimportant they feel it may be, to get in touch with us.”
