She is one of the countries most well-known authors and creator of the Tracey Beaker series among others.
The fan book is published by UCLan Publishing.
Head of UCLan Publishing Debbie Williams said: “We’re planning a big fancy dress party with lots of activities such as cupcake making and loom making and of course the live chat with Nick Sharratt means that people can ask him questions about some of their favourite characters.
“It’s a great way to celebrate the launch of this very special, unique book and thank the Jacqueline Wilson fans who themselves enabled us to produce it through their personal contributions.”
Nick said: “I think the book looks really fantastic. It has a lovely friendly feel and it’s brilliant for Jacqueline Wilson fans.”
Fans are encouraged to come on the day in Wilson-themed fancy dress.
The event takes place from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday 14 August.
Places can be booked using Eventbrite.
