An event explaining a change in the way you register to vote is coming to Fulwood.

The road show takes place at St Cuthbert’s Church on Lytham Road from 11am to 4pm on Friday 15 August.

The change in voter registration means everyone must now register individually rather than by household.

Preston City Council has launched a campaign warning how not being on the electoral roll could stop you getting a mortgage, finance for a new car or more.

The video below explains the potential impact of not being on the electoral roll.

If attending the roadshow to register you need to take a national insurance number or you can register online via About My Vote
