Dog wardens and canine volunteers will be out meeting and greeting at two Preston parks this week.
On Wednesday they will be at Fishwick Park from 12noon to 2pm.
It is a chance for dog owners to seek advice or anyone who is being troubled by owners not looking after their dogs can get help.
The wardens and canine volunteers also go to Moor Park on Saturday from 11am to 1pm.
The canine volunteers are a group set up for those passionate about ensuring high standards of dog welfare in the city.
Preston City Council recently announced a crackdown on dog fouling in the city and urged those who spotted owners letting their dogs foul on pavements and in parks to report it.
