Police are warning the public not to approach a man wanted after failing to appear at court

Julius David, formerly of Langton Street in the Broadgate area of Preston, was jailed for affray in August of 2013.

He was released in January but is now wanted by police after failing to appear at court on June 10 in relation to possession of drugs.

David, 31, is described as black, average building, 6’1″ and with short black hair and a beard.

A police spokesman said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to try to trace David but I would appeal to the public for their help. If anyone knows where he might be then I would urge them to contact us.

“I would urge people not to approach David directly but to contact police on the 101 number if they see him.”

He is thought to be in the Preston area but has links with South Ribble and Longridge.
