Nature walk to take in Preston parks and reserves

A seven mile stroll taking in two nature reserves takes place on midsummers eve.

The route takes in two local nature reserves including Fishwick and biological sites in the south of Preston.

The walk includes a mid-day stop at Avenham Park for lunch.

Organised by Preston City Council’s parks service anyone wanting to take part is advised to wear good walking shoes or boots.

Meeting point is the Fishwick Recreation ground car park at 10am on Saturday 21 June.
