Motorists reminded of M6 overnight closures

Tailback on the M6 at Preston

Overnight closures of the M6 northbound take place on Friday 13 June and Saturday 14 June.

The motorway is to be closed from junction 31 to 32.

On Friday 13 June this will be from 10pm to 6am.

On Saturday 14 June it will be from 9pm to 6am.

On Saturday the M6 southbound is also to be closed at junction 32 between 10pm and 6am.

Diversions will be in place.

It’s part of roadworks on this section of the M6 to widen its junction with the M55 and ease congestion at the bottleneck.
