Residents of the Euston Street Park area in Riversway are being invited to see how the park is developing.

Preston City Council’s community team has been working with local residents to clean up the park.

It sits off Hartington Road and the community celebration day will see a number of stalls.

Rosie Green, community involvement worker at Preston City Council, said: “Friends of Euston Street Park are hosting a community celebration day on Euston Street Park bring their local community together, chat to people about the progress of park development and raise money.

“I would like to invite any organisation along that may be able to provide information and a fun activity for free to local people to take part in. This is a great opportunity for you to also promote your services.”

Any organisation wanting to take part at the event on Saturday 30 August from 12noon to 4pm should email r.green@preston.gov.uk
