Sixth Preston man charged with firearms offence following dawn raids

Police have charged a sixth Preston man following dawn raids across the city.

Andrew Leigh, 25, of Old Lancaster Lane, Tulketh has been charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.

He was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.

Lancashire Police said the raids and charges were in connection with a firearm being fired in an incident in Blackburn in December.

A 23-year-old man who was produced from HMP Preston in respect of an alleged public order offence has been bailed until Thursday, June 26th.

Five Preston men were charged on Thursday with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
