The RSPCA Preston & District Branch has recently put out an appeal to rehome a young cat.
They currently have Lily who is desperate for a home and finds the cattery life very difficult. She needs a new loving place where she can have the care she has missed out on previously.
The RSPCA say in their appeal: “Lily came into the centre along with another three cats. These cats were living feral in someone’s house and were completely unaccustomed to any human contact.
“Lily found the transition very difficult and therefore the staff at the centre thought it would be more beneficial for Lily to go into foster.
“Whilst Lily was in foster she became a more confident cat who loved playing. When she first came into the centre Lily spend all her time hiding away, whereas when she was in foster she loved nothing more than cuddling on the sofa. Lily also loved a game of chase with the other cats in her foster home.
“Unfortunately Lily has come back to the cattery to try and find her forever home as whilst being in a foster home she was being overlooked by the cats at the actual centre. Although she is timid here, she is a completely different cat in a home and all the staff are desperate for someone to give Lily a chance in their family.”
If you feel that you could give Lily a home email rspcapreston@hotmail.com.
