Police appeal after “nasty” robbery and assault in Ingol

Police are appealing for help to solve a robbery which happened in late April.

A 21-year-old man was robbed of his mobile phone and cash as he walked home in Ingol.

He was by Ingol Golf Club on Saturday 26 April around 4am when three men approached him.

They proceeded to punch and kick him before stealing his phone and a quantity of money.

Two of the offenders are said by police to be white and around the age of 21.

One was 5’8″, of stocky build with black hair brushed forward and wearing black clothing.

Another was 6′ and of medium build. He wore a black hat, a black jacket with a red hooded top underneath and black tracksuit bottoms.

A third man was described as black, 6’2″, skinny, with dark shaved hair and was wearing dark grey jogging pants and the same coloured hooded top.

DC Danny Greene said: “This was a nasty incident and we want to find the people responsible. If you have any information about what happened, or think you may know who was involved, then please contact us.”
