A mini round-up of new openings in Preston.

Opened late last month, the Deli @ The Cafebar is another great addition to the foodie hot-spot that is Winckley Street.

You can now take all those classic Cafe Bar tapas away to enjoy at home from our new deli They also have some tasty continental sandwiches, or outside seating. A full review will follow.

Currently under construction is a brand new Indian Restaurant on Strand Road in Preston. This as yet un-named new eating place takes over the old Ming Dynasty Chinese Restaurant that folded quite a while ago and has been sitting empty ever since. As soon as the place is fully open expect a review.

Another eating place we told you about recently that took over from Momos Mediterranean and Moroccan Cafe Restaurant at the north end of Friargate sadly closed after only a few weeks.

The heat has gone from the grill at Chill 2 Grill. It was under new management, then closed altogether. We wait to see what this place will be next.

Kandy Krrussh on Plungington Road is part of the new trend for yogurt based smoothie drinks flavoured with sweets. Looks like a traditional American style soda bar inside. Very cool and smart looking. Full menu and review to follow.
