New convenience store on Fishergate

New high street convenience store due to open on Fishergate.

With the talk of a proposed new Sainsburys Local and Tesco Express to be built at the West end of Fishergate, smaller retailer Mace has stolen a march by opening a new store in the same location.

The new store takes over the shop once owned by the Designer Menswear outlet that recently moved inside the Fishergate shopping arcade.

Mace also has a convenience stores on Friargate and on Wellington Road in Preston.
