Man taken to hospital after Fulwood brook fall

A man has been rescued after falling into a brook in Fulwood.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to save the man who had fallen three metres into concrete culvert that allows the brook to flow under a road.

The incident happened at 4.21pm at the rear of Melrose Avenue near Eastway

Two triple extension ladders were used and the man has been taken to hospital.
